Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your preferred date on our captain's calendar. This deposit holds your private boat reservation exclusively for your group. You can conveniently pay your deposit online during the booking process or contact us directly to coordinate details.

Gratuity is not included in the standard charter price, but it is deeply appreciated by our captains for exceptional service. A customary tip is 15% to 20% of the total trip cost, reflecting your guide's hard work during early morning preparations, tackle rigging, and filleting your catch.

We ask all guests to arrive at the designated launch ramp 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Arriving promptly allows us to go over safety protocols, load your personal gear, and get underway without wasting valuable early morning fishing time.

If severe weather, high winds, or dangerous conditions force a cancellation, your safety remains our absolute priority. If Captain Ben or Captain Brent determines it is unsafe to head out, we will attempt to reschedule your trip for an open date or issue a full refund of your deposit.

Your charter includes dedicated instruction from a licensed USCG captain, custom 23' Shoalwater bay boat transportation, quality rods, reels, terminal tackle, safety gear, fuel, coolers with ice, and fish filleting/bagging services. For Cast & Blast packages, decoys and blind setups are also completely provided.

Guests need to bring a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing Package (and/or Migratory Game Bird Endorsement with HIP certification for hunting), polaroid sunglasses, sunscreen, food, and your choice of drinks. Bringing a light jacket for early morning boat rides and a personal cooler to haul your fresh, packaged catch home is also recommended.

We offer full deposit refunds or hassle-free rescheduling for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to your scheduled trip date. Cancellations made within the 14-day window may forfeit the deposit unless we can rebook the open date with another group.

As water temperatures drop, massive schools of Redfish push across the shallow grass flats of Corpus Christi Bay and the Upper Laguna Madre, while Speckled Trout aggressively feed over drop-offs and potholes. This period offers our highest success rate for landing high-volume catches and personal-best fish.

Our coastal bay systems sit at the end of the Central Flyway, making Corpus Christi a world-class wintering ground. During morning hunts, we primarily target Redheads—as the Laguna Madre hosts the majority of the continental population—alongside Northern Pintails, Blue-winged and Green-winged Teal, Widgeon, and Gadwall.
